Yes, you read it right. If you thought flying in a private plane was interesting enough, think again.

Singaporean photographer Aram Pan captured rare aerial footage of North Korea, or more specifically its capital city Pyongyang. He posted the 6 1/2 minute video of his flight on Youtube last year.

In the video’s description, it reads: “Video of my flight over Pyongyang in May 2016. It’s a rare treat that a foreigner is allowed photography and filming over the skies of North Korea and even rarer to be doing so in a Piper Matrix PA-46 Light Plane.”

According to The Straits Times, the rare footage shot by Mr Pan, 41 year old then, had also been featured on several news media sites. This includes Britain’s Daily Mail.

Mr Pan, known for his photography of the secret country, was given permission by its government to carry out the photographic flights.
